Faker Heads Home

Despite making it back to the semifinals for the first time since 2018, Faker is heading home. The series between T1 and Damwon Kia was very close, going to five games.

Faker and his young team didn’t play the slow and controlling game that we had seen of the past, instead of going for a fast-paced and aggressive playstyle that was either boom or bust against the slow and controlling playstyle of Damwon, allowing them to hand the first two losses of the tournament to the defending champion.
