2021 League of Legends World Championship Day 10 recap

The 2021 League of Legends World Championship continued with day 10. Royal Never Give Up, Hanwha Life Esports, PSG Talon, and Fnatic all took their shot at making it out of the Group Stage and into the quarterfinals.

With no undefeated teams in this group and no clear favorite, it looked like anyone could make it out.

Fnatic Head Home Early

Before the Group Stage even started, Fnatic found themselves surrounded by controversy. With bottom laner Upset having to leave before the group stage due to a family emergency, former Fnatic mid laner Nemesis making unfounded claims about what he thought may have happened, their jungler Bwipo taking a break from social media, to the LEC Woolo account making a tweet about what may be going on behind the scenes.

Despite all the drama, the team still took the stage and made their best foot forward, but still couldn’t make it out of the group stage. There were too many mistakes, they took too many fights that they should not have taken.

With all the drama, all the questions surrounding the team, Fnatic join FunPlus Phoenix in having an offseason to watch.

The final day of the 2021 League of Legends World Championship Group Stage is tomorrow, with Team Liquid, LNG Esports, MAD Lions, and Gen.G playing their last games to make it out of the Group Stage.
