As always, spoilers are ahead and feel free to check out last week’s spoilers if you somehow haven’t read the chapter yet. Without further ado, let’s begin!

Starting off MHA 332, we see a flashback to when Star and Stripe used to be in a sort of training camp for the army. Lacking the capability to increase her strength significantly at the time through the usage of her quirk, the fellow army men laughed at her, many blaming this in secret to Star’s being a woman. Still, they never said this openly to her, instead telling her that while she may not be All Might’s level, they’re ready to help her.

Back to the fight at hand, Star confirms to the pilots that she can touch the missiles coming their way, though she will need to let go of her laser order from the last chapter. The pilots are told to keep Shigaraki at bay, though it is then shown that he can see that Star is planning something. He can’t tell exactly what, but he knows the laser isn’t the final blow. Not letting him get a moment to prepare, Star begins a countdown, deactivates the lasers and grabs the missiles with her giant aura’s hand. She then uses a new order: The Tiamat will rotate.” Despite his best efforts to evade, the pilots begin a barrage of attacks on Shigaraki as Star begins a rotation of the missiles before pressing them directly into Shigaraki. The attack shares the name of the chapter, and even Endeavor can see the blast from Japan.

Unfortunately, the blast still manages to be non-lethal to Shigaraki, though it has reduced him to barely more than a burning corpse as he comes out of the hole created in the ocean floor by the missiles, and a giant smile still on his face. It is then revealed that, through Shigaraki’s free control of the Decay quirk, he was able to open a hole deep into the ocean floor. While hiding, the Nomu shown earlier was thrown into the fray as a distraction for the pilots. The pilots then move to protect Star, but their formation is broken by the Nomu suddenly exploding, allowing a clear path to Star that Shigaraki begins to rush through.

Upon Shigaraki reaching the leader’s ship, he pleads with Star to use the air giant to crush them both. He says there’s no way he could withstand another blow. Thinking on how long the two had been friends, Star hesitates for a second, and this is just long enough for Shigaraki to touch her face. End of MHA 332…

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh. It was kind of obvious from her introduction that Star and Stripe had to die if there were to be any stakes moving forward in the story, but it is sad just how tragic this small arc was despite the size. Still, it seems we’re going to get some great reactions from the cast next chapter!
