While we may have had to wait an extra week for the continuation of Star and Stripe and Shigaraki/All for One’s, MHA 331 leaks are finally surfacing and we can see if the wait was worth it. This week’s leaks come from Rukasu yet again, so let’s get right into the new chapter details! First off, the title is “America.” Somehow, I fear for the number one hero in the world…

As always, spoilers ahead, though that’s par for the course by this point. If you missed the last chapter, it’s translated on Viz, and I had my usual spoiler article as well. Also, despite the weirdness in Shigaraki’s self and identity, I’m just gonna call him by Shigaraki to keep things less confusing.

MHA 331 opens immediately after the last chapter with Shigaraki exploding with energy, breaking out of Star and Stripe’s New Order. He can fully be seen now with long flowing hair, telling the pro hero that he realizes how her quirk works. Even if the quirk is absolutely broken, it still has some limitations, based on her super strength being unable to kill him in one blow. Additionally, he deducts that she can’t merely cause an order to kill instantly as he is well enough a threat to warrant such immediate and direct action. It seems the quirk has a limitation on living beings based on their identity, noting that he would have died were he truly “Tomura Shigaraki” when moving within the last New Order.

Proving Shigaraki correct, Star and Stripe delegates with the pilots, noting that New Order and the barrage of high power lasers weren’t able to take down the threat. She asks them to send a message to a “Commander Aghbar,” though the pilots seem hesitant. Despite the tension, Star and Stripe resolves herself, noting that Shigaraki must be killed right now as he is no longer an enemy of Japan, but the entire world.

We see a flashback to Star and Stripe meeting the pilot’s group, happily shouting that she will protect them all, comically adding, “Let’s die together, bros!” In a bleak realization from her prior demand, the main pilot gives an order for the rest of the fleet to back off as Star and Stripe creates another order from her quirk, solidifying the atmosphere into a shape 100 times her size. Basically, a final gambit tactic so grand that even Shigaraki can tell something is up despite being unable to see the form. It then uses a massive punch attack to the ground, landing squarely on Shigaraki.

Despite the massive punch, she knows that Shigaraki’s healing abilities wouldn’t let something so simple take him out. She instead decides to beat him to a pulp, slamming him with a shockwave from her double’s clap. Afterward, she commands the pilots the fire lasers at her, using her quirk to order them to combine and solidify into a massive beam wielded by the double. At full strength and in both hands, she slams the solidified laser directly onto Shigaraki.

Somehow, even this display of might was apparently only to buy them some time, awaiting a return call from Aghbar. She reasons that Endeavor could have killed Shigaraki if her attack there did him in. Returning the call, Aghbar notes that Star and Stripe went too far and that she will have more than her hero’s license revoked. Ignoring that, she asks if the preparations are complete and Aghbar confirms they’re coming soon after connecting with Japan. Despite her recklessness, he comments that action like this is what makes America shine.

Ending off MHA 331, he follows up that even All Might could never seal the deal here. He then tells Star and Stripe, or Kathy, to finally overcome him. We then see a number of “Hypersonic Intercontinental Missels” heading for the seen. Basically, America is nuking the place if I’m reading it right. Astute readers may also have realized that the last two New Orders spoken haven’t been overwritten which should leave Star and Stripe much below her usual strength and durability. I’m thinking we may get a death reveal in the next chapter…
